A fair total-cost comparison also checks hosting, domain renewal, subscriptions, taxes, content entry and maintenance. These recurring or additional costs are not specified in this fictional example; the setup figures are not total ownership costs.
Start with B. Confirm the gaps first.
In this example, B fits the scope and setup budget best because content entry and handover are included. A has a lower initial price, but the missing work could change its total cost. C exceeds the illustrative budget and desired timeline. This is a conditional recommendation, not an endorsement of a real provider.
What we would verify in a real engagement
Source or contact, date checked, quote status and validity, scope exclusions, recurring charges, ownership, revision limits and provider availability. Unanswered items stay visibly marked as unconfirmed. Published prices and estimates are distinguished from directly confirmed quotes.
